Workshop Policies

All International Trips

A $1000 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot. Most workshops are limited to eight or fewer participants, so make your deposit early. The balance of workshop fees are due 90 days prior to the workshop start date, unless otherwise indicated for a specific workshop.

Domestic Trips

A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot. 

The balance of workshop fees are due 90 days prior to the workshop start date.


Cancellation Policy

All cancellations are subject to a $300 service charge.


If you cancel and we fill your spot, you will be refunded the full amount of workshop fees you have paid including your deposit, less a $300 service charge.


If you cancel and your spot is not filled, the following applies:

  • Cancel 90 days or more before the start of the workshop and you’ll receive a 50% refund of workshop fees that you have paid, including your deposit. 
  • Cancel with less than 90 days before the start of the workshop and you’ll receive no refund of workshop fees that you have paid, including your deposit.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended. 
Suggested travel insurances companies include: If we cancel the workshop due to Covid, we ask that you first seek reimbursement from your travel insurance. If you are denied reimbursed by your travel insurance, we will refund 100% of your workshop fees, or the balance of what your travel insurance doesn’t cover.

If we cancel but you have chosen to not purchase trip insurance, you will have two options:
  1. If you request a refund, we will refund 50% of your workshop fees paid. 

  2. You may choose to apply the full amount of workshop fees paid toward a future trip to the same destination. (Alternative trips may be possible depending on the cancelled trip). We will hold your payment in escrow for 18 months from the date of the cancelled trip and apply it to a future trip. If you do not apply your balance to a trip within 18 months of the cancelled trip, you will forfeit your payment. 

Covid Protocol 2022 & 2023

We will take the following precautions to keep our group and our hosts safe from Covid:
  • Rad and all co-leaders are vaccinated and boosted and we test during the workshop even if we aren't exhibiting symptoms.
  • I use the BinaxNOW or QuickView tests.
  • All participants must show proof of vaccination
  • Most of our activities will be outdoors, but in the event we go into shops, museums, restaurants, or other public places, we will mask.
  • Masks will be required while in transit and when we are inside closed areas as a group.
  • We ask all participants to take a covid test before our first meeting as a group and notify us if positive. 
  • We ask all participants to take a covid test if they exhibit symptoms during the workshop and notify us if positive.
  • Outside, masks may be worn at your discretion.
